The beginning of Makalu conquest

The expedition of Polish Mountaineering Association to Makalu started to climb according to the plan. On September 5, the place for establishing camp II at 6,500m was reached. In the following days it is planned to rig the ropes to the Makalu La pass at 7,200 m and to set camp III at 7,400 m.
