“We managed to get to camp 3 at 7,400 m – 200 meters above the Makalu-la pass. The conditions are safe – bristle concrete on the bedrock, it’s quite windy. Camp 3 was miraculously found. We plan to get to camp 4 at 7,900 m tomorrow.” – reports Artur Hajzer, the leader of the unification expedition to Makalu.
