Manaslu 2012 – a report of 10th May – waiting for improvements in weather

“All are in the BC. 2 days of snowfall and 4 windy days are expected. Composition of teams that are going to attempt the summit has been decided. Teams were composed according to acclimatization, experience, strength and endurance of climbers.” – Jerzy Natkański, the leader of a unification expedition of Polish Mountaineering Association to Manaslu (8,156 m), has emphasized today.

The expedition is a part of “Polish Winter Himalayan Mountaineering 2010-2015” program, whose honorary patron is Bronisław Komorowski, the President of Poland. The Ministry of Sport and Tourism and Jerzy Kukuczka Polish Mountaineering Support Foundation finance the expedition. Equipment is provided by HiMountain.
