A report of March 6, 2012, Tuesday, 7:50 PM local time

Today at 6:00 AM Adam, Artur, Janusz and Shaheen have set off towards camp 1. The weather was worse than expected, wind blew with up to 80-100 km/h and did not make the march easier. Despite difficult conditions all four of them have reached camp 1 in the afternoon. Tomorrow they plan to leave early and reach camp 3 omitting camp 2. 8th March is still the best day for the summit attempt according to weather forecasts; however, it may be possible to give it a try also on 9th March. Now it all depends on whether weather forecasts come true or not. Moreover, reaching camp 3 without stopping in camp 2 is going to be of key importance. If the wind starts to lose its speed from tomorrow on and the guys reach camp 3 without problems, there is a chance of summit attempt on 8th March.

All the best.
