“Everything is fine. We’re slowly descending. Today at Makalu La 7,200 m.” – informs Artur Hajzer – leader of the Polish expedition to Makalu.
Due to poor weather conditions the rescue helicopter cannot reach the base camp. Pilots wait for improvements in weather and they are going to try to land in the base camp at the foot of Makalu one more time in the morning.
